Two words - Kelly Clarkson. Okay six words - Kelly Clarkson, Since U Been Gone.

Oh good I'm not alone. I actually like this song. Whenever I come across that song on the radio in the car I leave it on, but I always roll up my windows and look around me hoping no one can tell what I'm listening to.

I roll the windows down, all four, and turn the stereo up to full when either this or "Behind Hazel Eyes" hits on XSS or KTI.

I (heart) Kelly Clarkson. And Mandy Moore. I would love for them to... uh... work... together.

Got their deal from a bunch of 4-track demos they recorded with their dad in their garage. Later released those demos on a major label. Worked with Matthew Sweet and profess their love for music – regardless of genre.

I don't like their music and I found Ummbop annoying. But I agree. Their music came from a very real place, and how can you hate on a bunch of kids making music they like.

For the album "Hard Candy"
-Matthew Sweet sings back-up on one of the songs
-Ryan Adams co-wrote one of the songs

I love this album although I don't know if it needs any indie cred. I think Liz Phair sung backup on American Girls. Perhaps that's not helping the case.

Nah, it was Sheryl Crow.

Okay, I concede. Sheryl and Vaness Carlton cancel out Sweet and Adams.

Lucinda Williams likes Bobbie Gentry (singer/writer mostly known for Ode To Billie Joe). If the Pet Shop Boys could bring Dusty Springfield back, maybe Lucinda can find the missing Bobbie, now in her early sixties.
