"Who's moderating NOW?!? Ha ha ha..." etc. Or maybe he can actually control real-live conversations too. That'd be creepy.

Even though my BAC is hovering somewhere around .06 ( estimated) from last night, this thread makes me thirsty.

He's actually reached uncharted OT levels in Scientology.

I am dissapointed in my lack of a drinking problem. I have been able to dial it back a notch without much problem. To wit: 3-4 years ago, when I worked a campaign in FL, I was drinking a fifth or 2 of gin a week, and going out fridays and saturdays with wreckless abandon. Hell, even last year it was nothing for me to drink 2-3 nights a week at the house (anyone remember when I got that massive free stash of wine and beer?) and then go to Redlands/ATL and WHOOP all weekend...and last football season was a detriment to mine and the public's physical and fiscal help. Now, I go out and have 2-3 beers twice a week, and get a buzz on most weekends, but I'm kinda dissapointed in myself, and my ability to be a fully functional and full blown drunkard.

Cheers, mates!

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Man I wish I was drinking right now.

my drinking problem is intermittent, and therefore ignored with great effort.

My motto:
Alcohol got you in this mess, alcohol will get you out.

I, too, still feel drunk from last night. Vodka + Family Guy movie= fantastic combination.

This is why Fridays are so important...
They only exist to help you forget the rest of the working week, but that's a pretty important job - more so than any of that biological mother B.S. ...

Mothers only help you to remember. Alcohol helps you to forget.

I am not alcoholic, but it's not for lack of trying (on other peoples' parts).

I'll drink tonight because it's raining there, since it never rains here.

I was calling B.S. on the overstatement of how important a biological mother is...

I mean, the whole "I Gave Birth to you thing", though important, is overrated by many people. It's like having to kiss the feet of a statue of Orville and Wilbur Wright every time someone steps foot on an airplane - 10 sec. or so of flight does not give them complete and total credit for the 747 you see in front of you, nor the journey ahead of you.

OK, so maybe that analogy is a bit flawed...but hopefully you see the point. I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers with that one, nor make any light of your personal situation...

Oh no its fine. I wasn't trying to get sympathy or anything either through my post but I didn't expect the bullshit to come out either. I get what you're saying though, and yeah I have a stepmother who I consider my real mom so i'm better off anyways.. and that goes towards your "biological mothers are overrated" comment. While I don't love her (birth mom), I still have a strange attachment to her. I wish I could figure out why but I can't. I think it's the whole psychological aspect of it, i'm her daughter but... Yeah, nevermind.

I understand your point. Sorry for calling you an asshole.

I had an eight dollar tab on Thursday.

I don't think that qualifies as a drinking problem.

I love $8 tabs... there are a few places here in Athens where it seems that I can drink whatever the hell I want, and still somehow manage to have no more than a $10 tab. I guess that's what happens when you know bartenders...

Unless you mean not drinking enough when you say drinking problem.
