i like the attitude so far; i'm actually having private prayer sessions for a wsox/bravos world series; it would be great for all of us (except dov and the houstonians..........yeah, fuck the Beantownahs--you won yaws, now goes away.)

anybody else notice that Houston has both a Qual and a Gar? Maybe its just me.........

I think sosa will win on saturday. He's been pretty lights out on the road this year. Plus he throws fast which is helpful in the postseason.

McCann's the man. These rookies keep stepping it up. It's awesome.

Cuz God knows major leaguers can't handle a fastball. Just please pitch anyone who doesn't have a slider that starts outer half and breaks down and away. We're dead with that.

please dont cry s.b.; you know what he (she?) means....power pitchers do generally do better in the postseason for whatever reason.....

Sosa is a complete wildcard to me though, for what its worth. Dude has that disease where he almost INSISTS on pitching himself into trouble just so he can pitch nimself out. That shit is funny in May but usually tragic in October.

not crying yet. I like the Oswalt/Sosa matchup for us, though Oswalt has actually been throwing too many strikes as of late. Plus, he's almost completely abandoned that 70 mph yacker which can keep anyone off balance when he keeps it down. This whole series rests on which side of the Astros schizo offense shows up over the next few days.

Hey, I had that. One of the contributing factors to my switch to behind the plate after my freshman year.
