the actual woods eh? hmm - never got hurt by a tree. this entire part of the country should scare the shit out of you. there are a lot of woods here - you can drive for hours and hours and never get out.

i'm from Media and grew up on a converted farm. I think I lived in Savannah longer than I actually lived in Philly proper. This will change soon, but yeah.

but you burn those big brown things w/ those green leafy things that stand up in the woods. that should make you feel pretty powerful. we're going to slow roast potatos on saturday. there's like 15 of us going.

Funny, I hit the mighty St. Croix last weekend for camping & kayaking (near Taylors Falls, MN-WI). Fucking camp-tastic!

Water was a little above average, but after the deluge this week, it's got be way high. Scrapage: next to nil last week. Again, the heavy rains probably sent a fair bit of debris into the River of Men. If you're not off till next week and the rains subside, you should be golden. Give us an update afterwards.

Hopefully nobody is trying to camp on the east coast today. The weather outside has been horrendous. We must have gotten like 3 inches of rain today or something.
