for hard rock, i read up on opeth. sounds good. one review said it's the metal ying to mars volta's rock yang, in that opeth's more metal-rockin but also in some sort of prog vein. is that true?

the riyl's i found were all over the place, from black sabbath to nine inch nails. any comments as to why those of you who really like this album like it so much?
