I think the Onion said it best "Wedding Enjoyed By No One But Bride". Seriously, I bought you a present and this is what I get in return? Basically I'm having a day stolen from my life. Why don't people who get married just get married and leave me out of it?

Now I'd be pissed off anyway but the fact that I have to dress up in a morning suit and buy $100 shoes I'll only wear once in my life has tipped me over the edge.

You might think about having a couple drinks and enjoying yourself. Who cares if they're playing "Jungle Boogie" or "Brickhouse" again......get your swerve on.

You know what else is at weddings? Bridesmaids. The reason for the cliche of "weddings are a great way to meet chicks" is because everyone is there for a wonderful event, wholesome even and it makes everyone comfortable with each other.

Throw some drinks into the mix and you got yourself a love stew.

Tonight: Drink some wine, watch a movie or read.
Tomorrow: Run errands, do absolutely nothing, well maybe clean, yeah definitely clean and go through storage. At night watch movie with husband and relax.

Sunday: lounge around and do nada

We have no obligations this weekend. For once. It's awesome.

Oh and Chase, congrats on this weekend, hope everything goes smashing!!

booze. lots of it. this is the first weekend where i didn't have to work/or be out of town in the past month.

3 day weekend= FUCK YEAH.

tonight: i think i'm going to knott's scary farm. it's up in the air... if not, then i'm going to check out my friend's dj set at some local bar.

tomorrow/sunday: trekking out to B.F.E. for some party for my friend's birthday. camping shenanagins.

monday: army navy / foreign born / cut copy @ the echo.

Update: The brother-in-law decided to leave and report back to his oil rig in northern Alberta. Which means there will be slightly less dangerously levels of alcohol in by blood this weekend, with no drugs. The fool left his stash on his bus/home back on the rig. Yep, he owns a bus. With all his oil money he bought an old greyhound bus and converted into a travelling home. Then proceeded to take an impaired driving charge so now he can't legally drive his home around.

Anyway, proper update for Canadian thanksgiving.

Tonight: Work a bit, drink a lot.
Tomorrow: Get tickets to Broken Social Scene, get some dinner and drinks
Sunday: Turkey et al with more drinkables.

Saturday: Doing girly stuff (nails, pedicure and hair); seeing Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Mark Gardener at the Henry Fonda later that night

Sunday: Sleeeeeeeeeeep in and sit around in my boxers and t-shirt all day!
