Organized some music.

Went to work out

Canadian Thanksgiving: taking my family to my mom & pop's for a feast.

My first cousin from Manhatten, NY, is up with his fiancee -- should be a blast, since I havent's seen him for 5 yrs.

Plenty of drinks & cigars.

Of course, if there's any hockey to see, later, I'll be watching.

Splates: I wish we had mountains nearby, that we could walk up in the rain.

Woke at 6:30 to a cat chewing on my fingers, usually a sign they want food. Fed cats.

Went back to bed. Woke at 8:30. Dressed, brushed teeth. Made coffee. Grabbed a book about Ghosts in New England off the shelf and sat down to read it and have coffee.

Then when husband awoke, crawled back in with him and we watched some of Superman on cable. Then went to Starbucks and got coffee and newspapers. Amidst the Chicago Marathon. Which is going on half a block away.

Now reading paper, and posting here. Then I'll read most of the day and dig out Fall clothes from storage.

Got home, slept for 8 hours. Woke up at 10:30, watched three episodes of Made, ate bagels, listened to my mom bitch about scholarships, and now i'm about to go to work. What an exciting day, sofar.

Slept 10 hours, got up and showerd. Listened to some music, studied for my test a little bit. More or less of the same to follow for the rest of the day.

It's barely 11am here. So far, I've:

a) Made killer chilaquiles for breakfast

Uhm...that's it, day is still young.

The Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions should both be packed up and sent to NFL Europe.

woke up hungover with boy in bed. got up way too early to take new love interest home so he could go to work. came back home, fell back asleep around 10, slept until one. played with roommates, ate a sandwich, am now thinking about taking a nap.

will probably have to drag myself to the library at some point to do research. still hungover.

Mmm...drizzling rain. Everytime I think of drizzling rain, I'm reminded of a quiet, early Sunday morning spent in the middle of Paris.

I've been watching this same baseball game for 14 hours, and I only tuned in in the bottom of the 9th.

I'm exhausted from just watching that game.

Burke just got a one-way ticket to Blow Job City. Damn.

Raked leaves, walked dog to indie video store, (picked up Office Space so I can fit it better on obner), roast giant organic chicken, stripped it, boiled its carcass for stock, got groceries and new Wayson Choy novel for book club, designed purse based on Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss" for friend's wedding on Halloween night.

And listened to lots of bluesy stuff like Waits, Isaak, Billie Holiday and the Decemberists. Isn't there a new Decemberist release soon?
