This is on the mellower side, but everyone I've played this for has been floored by it [especially during the early morning sessions]. Beautiful tune. Sooooo good.

La Ritornelle, as great as it is actually has a few competitors on the LP for best track.

that's great to hear actually. patiently waiting for my copy to arrive any day now.

How about this smoked out roller from Calibre. Thick breaks, dub fx, warm bass. Lovely.

and how about Thom Yorke's [if you even give a fuck] favorite electronic artist/s from Berlin, Germany....the mighty Modeselektor. Dancefloor destroying business here. Take your E now.

Thanks to everyone for offering up their favorites. I've uploaded a zip file in The Mix forum for anyone who's interested in downloading my selections. It's likely that I'll be doing an Ectopic Beats part two also.

I just realized (I think) I bought 1 new Electronica album all year, As One "Elegant Systems" & I wasn't impressed at all & quickly threw his older stuff back into rotation.

I think that the Vitalic album is disgustingly overrated, from the two times I've listened to it.

I'll try to upload a couple tracks for this thread later on.

The damn shame is all the stuff I have from years ago I can't listen to because it sounds dated & I can't sell because I'm not gonna get jack for it. I got sick of looking at them & decided not to fall for new release hype anymore unless it's an established artist I like. Five years from now I'll make a "Best Dance/Electronica music of the last 8-10 years" post & catch up on what's worth catching up on. It's not a race, it's a voyage.

And for the record I just remember I bought the new MBM this year & dug it. Plus I get a ton of mixed CD's from friends who are DJ's
