have you heard "Helicopters" yet? I'm thinking I like it more now. and the Banquet Remix/Edit or whatever on the EP is pretty awesome too. And just yeah, everything they do now is the best. I think I recommend them to friends more than any other band. Anyway, hopefully I find their new single at the record shop tomorrow, it is supposed to have a BALLAD.

Or "Sunday Bloody Sunday Redux", as I like to call it.
Seriously. I heard one after the other in the bar on Friday and they're almost indentical instrumentally.

'Float On' is a great song and definitely a candidate. Others I like a lot include:

1. Elliot Smith - Twilight
2. The Killers - Andy, You're a Star (centimental resons ;))
3. The Arcade Fire - Wake Up
4. Old 97's - Adalaide
5. Wilco - At Least That's What You Said
6. Bobby Bare Jr. - Valentine

You know, I'm actually more fond of Ocean Breathes Salty... but it is probably because of the amount of times I've heard Float On. It is a great single.

Yeah, supposed to be late January, I think.

I haven't looked yet, but I imagine they have the new single on Insound. And if not, it's on the Wichita records site. Only 7 bucks, I think.
