Cool. I must have got a few I totally wasn't sure about. High score...after Bob's which I predict will hold up unless Billzebub takes a shot.

edit: Billzebub let me down

Of course being so incredible indie I wouldn't know about these sort of mainstream bands; this explains my low score.

I still think I should get credit for my Chicago answer.

In retrospect, I remember hearing the bonus answer at some point. Don't know why it didn't stick.

Me too. I knew Eric Boucher was someone I knew, but I couldn't figure out from where.

I think everyone who DIDN'T know the answers to the Chicago and Steve Miller question deserves a handful of bonus points.

These are the only ones I know so I'm not going to bother with the rest...

Wow, I just looked at the correct answers and realized I was actually going to give 20 the correct answer but changed my mind.

Crap, guess there's something to be said for at least just taking a stab in the dark.

One of which...the Steve Miller question was an open guess.

I had the first one correct, but botched the first name

The answer to the Nick Lowe question is awesome...I may buy it just for that reason.

I was "OH SO CLOSE" on the Chicago question, which I should have got, but didn't want to wait a 1/2 hour until it came to me (oh, the perils of getting older). I remembered a couple of the song titles, but didn't quite get the album title right. That album was the first cassette (as opposed to vinyl) I ever got. I was 8.

I got 12, 15, and 17 right. The only reason I knew 17, is because I happened to read Pena's obit in the latest issue of Time last night while on the crapper. Without having stumbled upon that, I probably would have guessed "Wild Mountain Honey" or something.
