Meadow of Infinity/Glass Bridge/Meadow of Infinity Pt. 2 is one of the most beautiful pieces ever written. In my top 10 of all time.

Nice.

I'm going to go see the Sun Ra Arkestra this week--sans Sun Ra obviously--but I'm pretty psyched.

:)

Me:

Lhasa - The Living Road

I wish I could go back and see Sun Ra, he was a crazy man.

Of course, i'd either not be alive, or be a very small child to have seen one of the Arkestras performances with Sun Ra, before he died.

Sun Ra is by far my favorite out off all the jazz music i've heard.
Even if I start to listen to more and more jazz, which I can see happening as time progresses, I doubt my mind will change on that. The music is so entertaining. I can't listen to too much jazz on repeat, but i'll find myself listening to all the Sun Ra I have and when i'm finished I'll start it back at the beginning and listen to the albums again.

If I had the entire Arkestra collection, that'd be a different story. Sun Ra has the most impressive discography i've seen.

Baumann was only 24 when he made that. A shame he didn't remain at that level of quality. It's quite a ways from early Tangerine Dream to producing Yanni.

Well...it's a hard act to follow. Sometimes...it's like channeling...
