I was a huge fan back in 1983 (I was in grade 4).

That s/t record is wicked. I still own my LP copy of it.

I also just always kind of respected her and (strangely) looked up to her.

I can't say I'm seriously into her musically--the s/t is the only one I own--but I've rarely not enjoyed stuff I've heard from her.

The weirdest thing is that I believe my grade school fandom resulted in me picking up that same habit. This past week I had to be in front of a video camera and had someone tell me to ease up on the blinking. Guess she was more of an influence than I realized. (I think it's a shy/nervous habit.)

Madonna is nasty. The only time I thought she looked good was in her brunette "Like a Prayer" phase. She is long past that now. If you're playing along with the home game, these are words I associate with Madonna: mean, nasty, hard, harsh, disgusting, unattractive. Blech.

Britney is more appealing than Madonna because she looks like that trashy girl that, when plied with enough drinks, you could probably convince her to come back to your hotel room and let you get in her guts. The fact that she married that Alexander kid and later Federline only lends credibility to this scenario.
