Today: recover from last night. Thinking about checking out the Gossip @ Koo's since that venue is 2 blocks away from me. Do some laundry, and finish watching Season 2 of Arrested Development.

Saturday: wake up at the buttcrack of the morning and get my hair cut. Go back to sleep. Then it's Say Hi To Your Mom / Nada Surf @ the El Rey. My best friend just moved near the El Rey so it will be awesome not having to drive anywhere after the show! Mischief and debauchery will happen.

Sunday: SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. Possibly do some shopping.

tomorrow night: we are all meeting up with mil's estranged cousin that she hasn't seen in 40 some years. turns out he lives in the area, and they've been emailing and this will be the feel good reunion story of the fall.

sunday: mil to airport. football

Tonight: Probably rent some movies and drink a little after a long day of setting up for a massive CMT concert that is way too big for our venue.
Saturday: Watch the Huskers play Mizzou in Columbia on Fox Sports at 11:30am. Then go shopping for a Halloween costume. I want to go as a Team Zissou member, but I'm not sure about a blue speedo or shorts during the Fall in Nebraska, and I doubt I can find a track suit that looks like the one in the movie.
Sunday: I have no clue.

Does this mean you scored tickets? Or did you just feel the need to be a screamer?

They haven't even sold this game out nor are they puting in the extra bleachers above the "M". You would have thought after the illegal kick in 97, Nebraska Students changing the "M" into "N" a few years back, and a Nebraska player knocking a poor fan silly last time the Huskers played in Columbia, they could sell this game out quick.
I could see if the teams had records like they did last year, but this year they are tied for the Big 12 North lead.
It should be a great game, Mizzou was a 2.5pt favorite at the start of the week, now the game is a PK. This is actually the most confident I have been of a Husker victory all year, minus the game against Maine. I hope it doesn't bite me in the ass.

You can diss most of the Big 12 for attendance, but the Huskers currently have the nation's longest sellout streak at 272 games.

Just got back to Redlands to discover a box from UPS on the front porch....

I will also be bottling my first batch of Redlands Hot Sauce (mad with hot pepers grown in my fine organic garden) this wknd.

I've already promised a bottle to Dalen, and I'll inform if there is any other extras for the interested.

I also just remembered I have to go to the post office, get a weeks worth of my parents mail and pay some of our bills. (they are on a two week cruise)

Don't worry Nigga, I got you in mind.

I figured you might have let some secret Xmas deal out of teh bag, but yeah, I'm, down to try it out...Mistah Kurtz can usually whip up some fine concoctions, so I'm pretty curious.

Is the hot sauce to be put on everything, or just Pork Rinds?

huskerpunk: When I was at Mizzou, it was strictly a Basketball school. Although I was at the infamous "5th Down" game against Colorado.

Still, the cagers ruled the school.

Update: Not recording this weekend. Sharon is sick and I have to watch the kids. At least it's something I enjoy doing that is taking the place of my initial plans.
