As it is: my favorite all-time artist/band is Flaming Lips. The first band with which I really fell in love, following hearing "She Don't Use Jelly" on New Rock 102 [Oct/Nov '94], I initially enjoyed the music for its goofiness... But as senior year of high-school broke [Feb/Mar '98], I heard Transmissions from the Satellite Heart again on my headphones; enthralling. Further, their later output and projects just grab me. The idea of putting on a boombox show, the gall of a car-alarm show... Christmas on Mars! Jeebus - just so giddy yet massive.
