Before this album, Bjork could do no wrong in my eyes. It's not that this is not an easy listen - I don't know that that ever factors in with me. I think the album suffers from the weight of its concept. I think Bjork is recycling melodies and phrasing here. I think there are a few awesome songs on Medulla, but it doesn't do very much for me holistically.
