Sometimes, LooGAR is Scotty D. Dave and Scott share the Sen. LooGAR log-in information... And boost his post-count that much faster. Otherwise, each would prolly still be in Shiv territory. Impressive, but not challening Elvis for the throne.

No, thankfully I'm not Scotty D. Scotty D barely knows how to read, much less what the internets are. He is just a dude who likes to drink, and talk shit.

Initially, I googled Lugar and Scott, and the sixth most popular image was a urinal. Unfortunately, the link was dead.

Later, though, I went to Senator and D as my search query, and waahbam - that pulp novel(la) cover.

Glad that it amuses you.

i have been thinking about this weekend for over a month. i have an exam tomorrow, but then...

a guy my roommate works with owns a huge cabin way up north on lake superior, and he's letting us stay there. myself, my roommate, and our gay-straight friend are going to get drunk, canoe, play in leaves, watch cable TV, get drunk, eat, sleep, read, and do girly things like manicures and pedicures. all of this while getting drunk.

i can't fucking wait.

I love the weekend as much as anybody, but jeez the way some of you talk about your work week it's like you only live on the weekends.

Enjoy your yearly 104 days, dudes.

Considering I work weekends, I'm not that excited, but I do get hang out with the "locals" (you know... the locals) and drink. It started yesterday. I closed out the bar with the bartender and the owner. I can only hope tonight is just as weird.

Oh. But what are your plans?

Mine:

Friday (4/11): pick up script at pharmacy; retrieve developed rolls from Walgreen's; get haircut, inclusive burn-side and chin-whisker trim; see Jarhead on the company's dime (an actual Friday off, yet still at the kino).

Saturday (5/11): work am shift at kinetoscopic auditorium; buy ingredients for manicotti; go to girl's house; make food; eat.

Sunday (6/11): pick up dad; drive to Green Bay; tailgate with dad, his brother, and brother's son; watch Pack shock Cowher's Cowards, paving the road to Bengals's division championship; drive back to MKE.

You are my hero.

I predict the Packers end the year 5-11. What do you think? Favre will retire for sure. His last game will be against Holmgren at Lambeau, it's too perfect for it not to be the end.

Four wins in nine (remaining) games sounds fair, considering that they'll prolly take two or three within the division (where they have none now). Minnesota and Detroit at home, and with luck, one against the Bears.

So, we're straight on that.

As to a loss to the 'Hawks on closing nite, with a SEA victory making for their NFC West title, it would be fitting too. Favre's former back-up (M. Hasselbeck) ascendent, as Brett is striding into Canton, would be symmetry (or something).
