I don't know if I've got the time to effectively partipate, but I'd definitely be interested in hearing a bunch of Obs yack about mixes and albums. While drunk would be pretty funny too.

Y'all need some chicks up in there, so I'm game... however, I would have to figure out all the technical stuff. I'd be kinda nervous though.

This would be essential. "Open Gar Night", rank on all.

Only 3 releases?

I think you're gonna find talking about 1 record for 10 minutes ( on average ) is a really, really loooooooong 10 minutes.

Just sayin' . The concept of the podcast is solid enough.

well, if each track is say 5 minutes long or so, then we're left with 5 minutes chat on each track/album. ya think that's still a bit much?

I made the mistake of posting my earlier thoughts when I was still half-asleep, & didn't factor in the idea that you'd actually be playing some of the music you'd be talking about. Doy.

5 minutes is definitely better, but I think you'll still be surprised with how little time it actually takes you to communicate the info you want to.

Try this - pick an album, & write a review. Now, read it aloud while you time yourself. I imagine you'll extrapolate your thoughts into a discussion, but still.

yes, but factor in 4 different people, all commenting on the artist and tracks for 5 minutes each album, and it breaks down to just over a minute each. throw in some debate, and that 5 minutes is packed.

Dalen, This sounds like a great idea! Since I'm just a newb I don't know if I can contribute much to the discussion or reviews but I would love to help any way I can.

With 645 posts, you have no right to consider yourself a newbie.

P.S. I'm in too.
