I would give up TV, sports, Sports TV, and Huey Lewis for music. Too easy.

But what about BEER?

I've not had a television for 4 years and don't miss it at all.

I have a season ticket for my local soccer club and have barely missed a home match in 20 years so it would be tough but there is no possible way I could give up music.

Has to be sports then.

Not an easy question. I guess if it came to life or death, I'd choose sports but I love the Packers and MLB so much it really hurts saying that.

Neither of them are what they used to be, but sports would be the easier of the two to release in full.

Sports.

Music consistently makes me happy.
Sports are entertaining but are the source of much more frustration than joy.

Keep music.
Bye bye sports.

Sports. I'm a huge NCAA hoops & MLB fan, but the question's still a no-brainer.

Canadian = Hockey-mad.

So, it entirely makes sense.

Now, if only the Barenaked Ladies would give up music to focus on rec. league hockey full-time.

I've never played a game of hockey in my life. I love tennis, skiing, and baseball mostly. I pretty much gave up making music when I graduated school 1.5 years ago. I miss it, but.

My boss has a team in the same league as the Barenaked Ladies – The Ninja Tune Deadly Karate Chops. He dreams of laying an elbow on Tyler Stewart. And Chris Murphy from Sloan.

Actually, I've kind of given that up (for health reasons, not because I wanted to). It wouldn't be much of a stretch to just put the last nail in the lid of the coffin. For me, anyways.

But yeah, if I wasn't already there, it'd be a hard choice.

I usually don't get verbally angry with music. I also usually don't heckle Thurston Moore. Music would win out. Though I guess I'd be selling out since the O's have been with me since I was born.

I was sports editor of my high school newspaper, used to write a column, loved every minute of it. I remember asking my dad why he didn't watch football on Saturdays and Sundays, and he said he didn't have time to keep up.

I never understood that until the last few years. I just don't CARE enough anymore. I still LOVE the Georgia Bulldogs, but I love Athens as much for the memories surrounding music, bars, girls, etc as I do about football.

So, yeah, this one's easy: SPORTS

The question for me between beer and music, I dunno, and if you throw politics in the mix, it gets heavy. Ask Lee Atwater.

this summer, i seemed to get baseball tickets for all sorts of days when there are also really good shows. so, what would you rather see live - music or sports?

for instance, in a few weeks, i have tickets for the mets/brewers on the same day that goldfrapp is playing. in late july, i have tickets for another brewers game on the first day of pitchfork's festival, which includes silver jews, futureheads, ted leo, art brut, destroyer, mountain goats, band of horses, man man, and hot machines. i'm very conflicted.
