Very true. In our debate on who might be the next to go, I'll throw out Mike Sherman. I think he's gone, especially if the Packers think they can get Mariucci. Favre is good friends with him and I think his presence would keep Brett around for one more year. That's my prediction anyway.

lots of italians migrated into northern wisc. in the early 20th to log the white pine forests (that's probably what mooch's grandpa did), and there are lots of families up the still. so yeah, italians-americans do that well in wisc. ask anyone from racine.

i'm thinking you're right. mooch and no4 are very close. no4 wouldn't have to re-learn anything, and with jim bates running the d, old no4 just might stick around for a few more years. look for the family guy, aka mike sherman, to be reunited w/ holmgren as an asst. in seattle. how many days until the reggie bush sweepstakes?

I think he was probably mainly referring to Lombardi.

As a Packer fan, I'm not sure I like the idea of having Mariucci as coach but if it brings Favre back, that's really all I need.
