That was pretty bad. To bring up the Pacers-Pistons thing is weak, since that involved maybe 50 people tops. That's not to say we don't have our own brand of foolishness, but we haven't had too many largescale riots or scores of fans throwing bananas at black players.

I think its valid because it was a very public display of mayhem. I think though there is a larger bias in our own culture for violence than us looking overseas. Not a WVU game goes by that is a heated rivalry that the media doesn't pick up the whole couch burning thing.
