Oh oh... is that the little mini laptop model?

If yes, how is it? I am sooooooooo into getting one of those.

When I get the money it will either be a Vaio or this:

I don't really need anything. But will more than likely buy myself a digital camera after Christmas.

I bought some transfer paper to make Blue Milk a cool t-shirt, or a few cool t-shirts, and I will also be making myself a very cool Elvis Costello t-shirt. Maybe a few more.

Heh heh. Yeah, I think I'm in a similar place to Esh right now... trying to find stuff to re-inspired me to play music. The bass is definitely working, actually. My old bandmate used to say that if I got one I'd prolly never play it... but he was so wrong... I play every chance I can. It's so much fun to learn stuff: today I learned "Foggy Notion" and "What Goes On".

Apart from bass I'm kind of laying low for the time being. Not really in the mood to sing or write much these days. Guess I'm still kind of sad about the whole thing and feeling a little cynical.

But, but, but, I've seen pictures of your new mic, too!

Me, I just work in music. I don't need to make it now that I'm not studying it. One year ago, though, I bought an MBox, and I've hardly touched it.

That one isn't quite so mini. Its a 15.4" widescreen model (the small one is 12.1"). My roomate has a 12.1" Thinkpad and mine is pretty big comparatively. But I am really happy with it.

Yeah... but I ain't been using it. :(
I made two little song-ish things this fall but haven't followed up on them.

You really should get back into it J, that piece you did with Mademoiselle Chassgrain was beautiful, as was the one with the speaking over it. don't underestimate your talent.

I picked one of these up today at Target. 40 gig portable external hard drive

I was gonna get the Seagate pocket one, which is 5 gig for $99, but then I saw this one on the rack next to it for $119. WTF? I've been wanting more storage for my music without having to erase older stuff, so hopefully, this will be the answer.

I'm trying to find this little guy and the on-line store in Richmond, VA says its out of stock even though the website says they have it.

Damn, those things are kinda expensive. You can't find it online anywhere? I'm sure there's someplace here that would have it, but I have no idea how to go about finding out where for you.

I spent lots of money on a few friends this year, so that made me happy.

Also, I bought myself 13 CDs last week.

5 watt class A fender champ clone by Mark Sampson, of Matchless and Badcat fame.

Stay tuned to see what else I get me. So what are you getting yourself?

I'm so amped (pun intended).

YOU FUCKING BASTARD. Mail that to me immediately. STAT!!! Goddammit. I don't think you know how much I neeeeed that amp. I got neighbors, and good taste! I can't deal with anything else! But I'm married, and cannot even muster the energy to try to talk the wife into accepting that a tiny, quiet amp is worth a grand+.

I cannot turn the mesa dual rectifier anywhere near "up."

I think I have everyone beat here (except for the good Senator - marriage or a new baby trumps all):

And it's awesome.
