Did both. Contemplated not telling my mom at first, because she tends to freak out. But then I told my mom, my coworkers all knew directly after he left the building, and they knew it before, too. They were all freaked out and had something to say when he left.
My mom is talking to my dad about the situation and I would kind of rather they don't do anything but they have their guard up, and if he comes in once more then i'd like them to do something. It's just awkward. I don't fully know his intentions, but still, giving your number to a young girl is bad.
I'd love to hang out with a ton of my customers, this one guy comes in and talked about his thousands of records he owns, and another guy gives me burned cds, I ran into another customer in Plan 9 buying Sonic Youth albums, and a woman came in talking about Tom Waits one day. The problem is they are all much older than me and even the people who i'd like to talk to more, I would not like it if they gave me their phone number or asked for mine. That's crossing a huge line considering our age difference. If I was in my 20's it'd be a different story.

Anyways. I also talked about the situation in front of a cop today. He laughed. I was in Walmart and they have cops stationed everywhere, and a friend was sitting on a bench near him and I explained the story to her. Anyways. People know.
