Christmas Bonus?
I thought that was just one of those "invented-to-drive-a-sitcom-episode" rumors.

Now I feel kinda bad for having never gotten one..

As I said in another similar thread, my company gave us jeans days all this week! So awesome! Trading one style of pants for another, what a treat! Let me know when "no pants days" are announced. That I'll get excited about.

Dude, if I was your mailman I would've had the movie already playing and a cold beer waiting for you.

Yeah, is that "christmas bonus for the mailman" thing only like a Northern or Urban thing?

I dont even fucking know my mailman and I had to go speak to the postmaster because my SI was showing up on like Saturday and shit.

I dunno, I'd be more likely to tip out the UPS guy. He RUNS.

Hold on, you only have one garbageman? I have like 4 wild looking brothers hanging off a truck rolling down the street. They might throw me in the truck if I approach them with anything less than a fatty and some Hen.

Funnily enough, I know that UPS guy that comes to Redlands. Went to HS with him. We used to call homie "Remo" cos his last name was Williams. One of those likeable oaf-types who just tried way too hard to be cool.

Yeah, you introduced him to me that one time. "Remo"

We've actually got another guy as well.

I guess they're so busy that they've run out of trucks because Remo was pulling packages out the back of a Budget Rental Truck and running it up to peoples houses at like 8:00 the other night.

Damn. I guess I'm kinda glad holmes has a good job, and not on the street or something. I mean, he was from The Meade and all ;)

I'm glad I don't have to tip folks or nuthin', I did however have to buy presents for like 12345377 people because of the FEMGAR influence. And Christmas cards.

And my bonus was, I got an expense check mailed to me. Cheap fuckers. I could use the money, especially after the massive amounts of gelt I put in the company coffers.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen UPS packages on someone's front walk, nowhere near the door.

I did get a Christmas bonus, and I was surprised by it. This is my first year with my company (six months), so I wasn't expecting anything. However, since I had been there less than a year, they pro-rated it.

I need to cash that check, by the way.

they at least usually make it to my porch (same as the USPS guy when he has something big) but I suspect they both just throw it towards the door like JoMo running the 2:00 drill.

Hi, I've seen my mail person! Know her personally, but never tipped her.

Got a Christmas bonus that I'd call "sufficient".

Yeah, but it's derived from differed income. They take money from our check, put it in an interest bearing account, then give us back money that was generated from the interest. Kind of fucked up.
