I think it actually pisses me off more than people using the parking spaces when they don't have the right.

I know! Think about the logistics and you realize what a sham for lazy people it is. In order to get in the damn scooters you have to presumably walk from your car into the store, unless you're leaving a wheelchair that costs at least $1K (and in my case, $4K) sitting empty in the scooter corral area. So you can cover the distance from the parking lot to the store on your own, but going through the aisles with a cart to lean on is just too taxing?
Outrageous.
All that said, I think it's great that stores offer them for the small audience of folks who need help. But the folks who use them unnecessarily are OPEN GARBAGE.

I use those motorized chairs in stores all the time. They're awesome. You can cut right up to the front of the line-up at the deli in those things and nobody says squat. Plus you can push the store displays into the center of the aisle and the bagboy beeyotches just smile and TAKE IT.
