Stats like this don't mean squat. Yes, the Pac-10 and SEC both have six. But Independents have 8, and smaller colleges (non Division I-A) have 7: Terry Bradshaw twice (Louisiana Tech), Richard Dent (Tennessee State), Phil Simms (Morehouse State), Jerry Rice (Mississippi Valley State--Itta Bena reprazent!), Doug Williams (Grambling) and Kurt Warner (Northern Iowa).

An odd sidenote: Dent, Simms, Williams and Rice all won consecutively.

Again, let me re-state: I don't think that Bush is a bust, but I'm not so sure he's gonna be the king-hell NFL superstar everyone thinks. If I had the top pick I trade down to get some extra shit.

I've never seen Vince Young and Brian McKnight in the same picture.

That fumble has already cost UT the game. USC 45 - Texas 19.

That Reggie Bush lateral was the stupidest play I've seen in a long time.

I don't own handguns because I would shoot that slapdick that sings the "Dukes of Hazzard" theme song in the cellphone commercial. Then I would shoot his family.

I will also say that Vince Young's lateral was the stupidest play since Reggie Bush's lateral.

Keith Jackson needs to hang it up. He's butchering this game. I'm not even sure he realizes he's on television.

Also, let's get rid of instant replay so we don't have to hear Dan Fouts bitch for the rest of the game.

Spade, you're looking good. UT is taking advantage of some bad USC tackling.

I'll be shocked if USC doesn't put up 4 scores in the second half. It'll be interesting to see if Carroll can actually earn his coaches pay. I think he can.
