Agree in total. Those pieces have crossed the line into blatant lying and propaganda for me.

RS is what it is, and as bad as most of you hipsters think it is, it is still better than most of those indie rock mags that I cant even focus on long enough to read because the writing is either:

A. Boring or
B. illiterate

dude, not your fault. and sure, I dont care if you read my mags--shit I barely have time to read them all, and whats an extra day for an Esquire or Vanity Fair that will take me a week to get through? SI though is a little time sensitive: I might want to read the previews of big games before they happen. I did register a complaint on SI.com and will get two free issues out of it though.
