I joined in October 2001. Man, that WAS a long time ago!!! My second son hadn't quite been conceived at that point.

OK, if you joined Oct 2001, do you remember me joining soon after that?

We should celebrate your 5 year obniversary with a Fractured Texas Volume 3

Yeah Yeah...I'd want one too...in exchange for a cool mix from me of course.

I joined CMJ in either 2001 or 2002. I don't remember.

I still have all the mixes that were sent to me.

Believe it or not, jagged is much more tied into the local music scene than am I. He would definitely be the ideal curator for any future projects of this nature. Now that we have a much larger Texas contingent than we used to, perhaps I could enlist the expertise of all my Lone Star brethren...

Have jagged cover D/FW, Chuck(e)D take Austin, NudeDude and juice could tag team Houston, etc.

I joined on Dec. 31, 1969, according to the new board.

How did you find the exact date, Z? Or is it just that precious to you?

Database of shows? You might have been better off just saying "Yes, its that precious to me"

it's no different than putting all your albums in excel. and how else would i know that i've spent $1850.75 on admissions since october, 1993?

October of 2000, fer crying out loud!

I have mixes from other boarders that date back to 2001.
Jeebus!

Paul was Kid_DJ Paul and still in High School fer crying out loud!
Mark The Obner wasn't even in High School, yet.

Just hit me now.
Freaking strange.

Yes. It's been a long, strange trip. I wouldn't trade it for anything, though.

I keep my albums in excel for insurance reasons and because its any easy reference for looking through for mix ideas, something to listen to, etc. I don't keep in my list things I once bought but traded in. It is a little different and more anal. I was really just kidding though.

I think I've been on since Nov. 02, though I had a different screen name then. I've been posting as afreshstart4me since January 2003.
My name holds true still. Every year since then I've either moved or change jobs, sometimes both.

oh, i know. i keep my albums in excel for the same reasons. i started the thing with shows as a reference because i realized a lot of openers were later becoming a big deal and i wanted to remember whom i'd seen and when.

August 31, 2002... So, that's three years and change, a coupla job changes/additions, a coupla different residences, and quite a few hard-ons had over sixteen- and seventeen-years-old hotness ago.

Also, did I join the board before or after Rick Derris ("Ben")? And, if the former, and even though I neither was nor am connected to the LooGCrew, was my emergence an omen of board ruination (much like John the Baptist served as a precursor of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ)?
