Yeah, it's selected questions from the site. I remember reading a few of them. Some of them were pretty funny.

Q. Are you worried about what you might do for a living when B&S comes to an end? Or are you the Rolling Stones?

A. we are the rolling stones.
Stevie.

A. we'll have to agree to differ on that one, Stevie..

What if DCW wasn't really a hit?

Faves are likely the ever-popular IYFS and the underloved FYHC.

If you like Fold Your Hands Child you might be interested in a lot of Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegans album 'Ballad Of The Broken Sea'.

Yeah, I've been waiting and waiting for this dude I know off the net to post his review sos I can make up my suggestable mind :)

I know a guy as well, but he's been in bed with the cold all week and fallen behind on his reviewing. He's got Cat Power and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah both half done and then next will be the Isobel Campbell album. So I heard, anyway.

I hope your guy gets better. Not just for selfish reasons, I'm also in favor of his general wellbeing. :)

i've been digging on this album pretty hard. totally agree with darrin on loving how they've matured their sound and found new ways to express the belleandsebastianness. two tracks in a row that really show what i'm trying to talk about are "we are the sleepyheads" and "song for sunshine" back to back. so hot...i love the sunshine groove and whenever the "refrain" begins with that beautiful "sun shiiiiiine"...oh man.

this band just continues to make me very happy. not a weak spot on the album, except maybe "to be myself completely" but that's not even bad really.

24 hours from now, I will either be seeing them perform on stage or basking in the afterglow.

With The New Pron opening, I can't wait.

It's my first time seeing either.

Amazon has the deluxe edition for $13, same price as the regular edition. Just ordered mine. Act soon because Amazon seems to change their prices fairly often on things like this. Great album.

Also, wtf is this?:

No mention of it on AMG or B&S' website even. Track listing makes it look like its some deal like when Natalie Cole recorded "Unforgettable" with her dead father.

Belle And Sebastian curated mixtape, basically.

It's a bunch of tracks chosen by the band that they either really like or influenced them, stuff like that. It's also apparently worth the money because Stevie or Beans mixed it, so that certain tracks fade into one another.

I haven't heard it yet.
