My dad was a greaser way back when. My mom was a sweet little schoolgirl who happened to look like a cross between Ann Bancroft and Adrienne Barbeau once she hit her 20's. They married, had four kids, divorced and well... I really need to find the photos of my dad back then.

Maybe one day I'll post some photos. I got my hands on the photo album that was made before my grandparents died. Some of the pictures go back to the late 1800's of my great great grandmother as a little girl. It's freaky. It stretches all the way til about fifteen years ago and is really a history of my grandparents, their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I'm sort of the protector of this album right now. My mom doesn't trust anyone else in the extended family with it(I'm a history buff when it comes to the family).

My dad's still killer. Dr. I Got Ish vs. Little Steven. Can you tell the difference?

i wish i had an image handy, but my grandfather was a country musician in the 50s and 60s (jimmy zack was his stage name), and put out a bunch of vinyl - "7-Up and Whiskey" and "Evil Ways" (not the santana song). probably not a lot of copies floating around out there.

ha, finally found the photo of my dad. Don't know when exactly it was taken (in the 1950s). It's actually a post card. Apparently it was pretty common back then to have street photographers snap your photo and print it on a postcard. It was taken in Atlanta. The guy on the left is my dad. The guy on the right is his uncle, who was basically the man who raised him. I think my dad looks so sharp in this photo!

Don't have any pic with my parents here with me but I have proof of my Grade 4 Rock Stardom:

Why don't all men still dress like this? I have a friend here in town who needs to meet the ATL boys - he goes out every night in a three piece suit, regardless of what dive bar he's headed to. I aspire to this.
