yes. realize that we have been living together for quite sometime now.

I've been engaged to GoodladyRads since '99. That has always seemed like the moment of commitment, whereas the eventual ceremony seems like an expensive formality. Fortunately, my wife isn't the type of girl who feels the need to be a meringue princess for a day.

3 of them. But I can't vouch for their sanity.

I wasn't asking about who was going to get married first, I was asking about who would pass his seed first.

We refer to young children as "advertisement's for birth control" if that gives you any indication of our intentions.

I want them before I get too old but I respect the future Mrs. Bloor's rights to a young adulthood.

I absolutely cannot picture mini-bloors running around. All I can come up with is little kids with rat tails and bmx bikes, doing badass stunts in the cul de sac.

I don't wanna even discuss the possibility of the existance of a "mini loog." It defies physics.

Their offsprings actually have a good shot at being upstanding folk shying away from the moral degeneracy of booze and rock and roll, that is, if there is any truth to 'regression towards the mean'. The prospects of this stastical phenomenon not being true is, well, disconcerting to say the least.

And what does this do to the morale of the gay men of America?

Anyway, Chris, congrats...it's nice to see that that you're serious about at least one thing. Ms. Bloor is one very lucky woman.

The gays will survive. Even the married Bloor will still sing showtunes, get his hair cut at a "salon", and obsess over the most miniscule details of clothes and grooming products. And occasionally.....have dirty fingernails.

Ms. Bloor is a fucking saint.

Cheers and congrats!

Don't skimp on the champagne. We spent more on champagne than any other wedding item.

Fantastic news, Bloor.

Congrats to you and the future Mrs.

She's got to have the temperment of a saint.

Congratulations, Yail!

Get good reception food, and don't forget to eat it and drink the booze! I was so amped up and freaked out at my wedding reception that I missed out on some of the best food and drink that I have ever been around. I won't make that mistake the next time I get married.
;)

You are lucky. My girlfriend pressures me about an engagement about once every two weeks and sometimes more. I always tell her I'll ask if she doesn't mind not getting a ring with the proposal, then she quiets down.
I gave her a promise ring last Christmas, and she feels like since we have been dating for two years that we should at least be engaged. She doesn't want to get married until after she finishes school, so I don't see what the big deal is, since she still has a while left due to not taking a large load of classes like I did.

I gave up on trying to see what the big deals are, and just accept that they are big deals. Once you hit "big deal", there is no longer a chance for rational debate about it.

a promise ring? wtf? dude, you can go get a cubic zirconia and some sterling silver and it's all good--your girl will be totally fucking understanding. Not everybody rolls like Yail with platinum and a fucking top grade rock.

I hope that you and Steve or Lars or Bruce have a ball. C'mon dude. You know that you are better than that.

I completely agree with you, I don't even try to argue stuff like this. I don't ever feel like getting in the proverbial doghouse over something like this. I just comment about it on here to let out the little bits of frustration that tend to add up after a while if you don't say something about it.

Right. So here's the real question:

We all are invited to the wedding and reception, right YB?

How can you not have all your obner family(dysfunctional or not) in attendence?
