And I always meant to do a review of Billy G's awesome 2-disc mix, but the sheer amount of songs was overwhelming. Still, maybe one day.

Awesome. At the same time, uh oh, my new mix is going to be a 2-disc'er as well.

I've made the mistake of including too many international songs on my mix, although it's not an international mix. Hopefully, people get what it was I was trying to do. But if you don't like international music at all, you probably won't like my mix.

While you probably know that's safe with me, i think its generally a good thing if all 20 mixes aren't pulling from a small pool of songs. Mine will have 5-10 world music songs although you won't recognize some as such since they sing in english on a few. I also think only one song so far among the 40+ I'm looking at potentially including is less than 25 years old.

Nice to see the reviews starting already although I don't know if I want to start reading any until I've actually heard the mixes with my own ears.

i read the ones about my mixes, but i think i'll hold off on looking at the others until i hear them myself. it's tempting, though.

Yeah, I went ahead and posted my reviews just because I know I have a windfall of cd's coming soon. I gotta review when I have time to review, and perhaps I should have said something in my first reviews, but they were all based on 1st/2nd listen, so something I may have reviewed low may turn around and impress me 6 listens from now!
