Not a bad article, until they bring in Neal Pollack.

Oh, and if I had dat big money, I'd wear a real nice suit every day. And I'd rather have teh corner office than be able to go to Mammoth, but I do have an iPod, but don't have much love for The BRavery, Kasier chiefs, or Wolf Parade.

So, Like I said, I'll just keep it pimpin. Y'all grupsters have fun.

shit, then 38 must be a different demographic because i don't own any of the previously mentioned, except for the attitude, salt-n-pepper (more n more each day), some extra paunch that takes longer to get rid of and injuries taking much longer to heal.

i guess you could be called:

Still in the mids, thank God...

I don't even want to think about myself getting older (which is proving harder w/a birthday coming up next month)...

I, myself feel like a man-child. Full of too damn much responsibility and, most likely, not handling it very well. I am a good person, but a bad grownup.

So, with that in mind...

30. Whooole new bracket. (gay winky emoticon)

As far as that article, it's a stereotype, and it's supposed to be for NY'ers, so everything's a little over the top, but little pieces of it hit home for a lot of people here I'm fairly sure, just not all of it.

I was asking for the more specific purpose of helping the wife define a few things about her target market for her business plan. There isn't a widely-accepted handle for these people, so it's difficult to explain to someone like an investor or a banker who doesn't already know that these people...
1. Exist, given a little leeway on the details
2. ^ in great numbers
3. Are moving into our neighborhood at a record clip, and
4. Have disposable income.

Like I said, very few people fit into such a narrow description, but I do know people who are the "music guy" in their offices because they knew about cold play a year ago. It's a descriptor.

Hey -- for being free, non-college radio, that station tries goddammit. I don't listen to them much anymore, but the fact that they haven't expired yet is touching... they play Guster.

But you are 100% correct. I, however, will take someone at least trying to delve below Clear Channel over people who don't at all. It's a step in the right direction.

My point is that I went from that to XM, not to another station, because nothing else on the air approaches tolerability.

Eh, I feel so out of any community that any generational tag really never sticks to me very well.

Hmm...early 20's, little college education, black, gay, bedroom musician...ya'll make something up. I'd just say "art-fag" and get it over and done with.

I'm 35, almost 36, but I will always be forever 27 in my brain.

I don't own super-expensive jeans
I like shoes but have to be picky and choosy about what I spend my money on
I'm growing my hair long, so I haven't gotten it cut in a while now. Needs highlights though.
I have a Timbuk2 bag, but I use it to carry my bike clothes when I do lunch rides, nyah nyah.

Dink certainly applies to me and the old man. But I do like Sketch's "21st Century Digital Man-Boys." Except, I'd be a bitch instead of a man-boy. ;)

Yail and Kyle are 2 years older than me.
Busty is 1
I think that's right

Harry Monster's a year older than me, but me and Bloor didn't meet him til college

Derris is 2 years older than me, but I feel like I've known him forever.
