Yeah, the "chinese looking bitch" is Ann Curry, who is from Portland. I believe she's Japanese though. I like Ann, but she seems to fumble over her words a lot.

There is something about her that annoys the shit out of me.

Also, Matt Lauer needs to be rocked in the grill. Worst. Haircut. EVER.

And Estone -- your balls are somewhere on a shelf in your house. I know a doctor that can re-attach em for you.

You should be watching IMUS.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?

I agree, but his hair was thinning, and he at least did the noble thing of cutting it super-short vs. using something like spray-on hair or a rug.

I agree. As long as you arent rocking the "two strips of bacon" look, it's all good.

Lauer is a talentless hack though.

I wish David Hartman would come back to life and beat him with a shoe.

True story-- a girlfriend of mine from college worked for Deborah Norville (remember her 15 brief moments as a Today Show anchor?) as a personal assistant within the last couple of years. She got brought in for a review, and basically told Deborah that she needed to lighten up and relax. Needless to say, my friend got fired.

who actually watches the today show, anyway?

i do.

well i don't necessarily watch it, as it's on in the background while i get ready for work, shower, etc....

what's wrong with catching a few headlines and weather while preparing for your day?

nothing wrong with it - just thought that morning TV was mainly for the unemployed and housewives/husbands. i am up and showered and out the door in the morning pretty quick so don't know how i would watch any tv. i dont get enough sleep as it is.

Yeah, Norville got her start doing TV in Alanta, right?

Yes, Deborah did start out in Atlanta, which is why I think she hired my friend to begin with. When I was in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't believe how much the news anchors don't change there. Still the same people on that were there in 95.

Was it Carmen Burns, Loogar? Or Jocelyn Dorsey?

If by '95 you mean '85, yeah. I mean fucking John Pruitt, Monica Kauffman, and Glenn Burns are still doing news here.

I refuse to watch the local news though. THAT, is a bunch of shit.
