What is Nine Songs and why am I slighty interested?

A man and woman go to nine shows during her visit to England. Nine different bands play. In between, they go to his house and have sex or just stare into each other's eyes.

It's a movie about a couple that attend concerts (Franz Ferdinand, SFA, Von Bondies, etc.). In between actual concert footage, they get it on like a couple of rabbits. Oh, and there's also some talk about glaciers and ice or something like that, but I always ff through that.

Why are you slightly interested? Because you like music and (maybe) porn.

it's a british film that came out about 2 years ago made by the guy who did 24-Hour Party People.

it has 9 bands performing in it (namely, Dandy Warhols, Franz Ferdinand, Super Furry Animals, Von Bondies, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Primal Scream and I can't think of others off top of head) and it's about a guy and a girl who date and all you basically see is them having sex.

BUT the sex is unsimulated. Oral sex, fucking, the whole bit. Right there.

but the consensus is that it's quite boring. You'd think, with all the sex and rock and roll, it wouldn't be so damn boring.

Yeah, that's what was throwing me off, thus generating the "slightly" remark.

i'm surprised that no one's mentioned that most of the chosen songs are pretty bad, specifically the dandys and SFA. although, the primal scream jawn is top-notch.
