Do the Black Crowes have something new coming out? Anyone know?

Not from what I've read, just a summer tour coming up with the DBTs.

One time I knew a clean hippie. There was assumption of filth because of his look but there were no hairs on the flush the time he used my bathroom and the room smelled like Jovan Sex Appeal instead of potato rot. Upended my worldview.

I wrote the High Times cover story about the band in the July '92 issue

On the day I was married (6/13/1992), me and the groomsmen were hanging out at one of the usher's house before the ceremony. It was late morning on a Saturday, so there was nothing on TV worth watching at the time, which led me to scan this usher's coffee table for some reading material to calm my nerves until it was time to depart for the chapel. Needless to say, I was hoping for something along the lines of a Playboy.

But guess what was the ONLY thing that guy had to read??? That's right, it was the above-mentioned issue of High Times. That was the first and only time I ever cracked open that particular periodical, but I'll never forget seeing The Black Crowes on the cover and wondering why it took that moment for me to finally make the extremely obvious connection that the Robinson brothers and company were huge potheads.

I never in a million years would have ever thought the opportunity would present itself for me to tell that rather uninteresting anecdote, so THANKS, DOV!
