I'm as light as OPA! in a brand new pair of slippers, but shitballs Todd's threads are awful and no where near funny. Just getting old.

Well, at this point, we pretty well have a mutual admiration society going. I find myself thinking, often "Would ayah approve of this purchase?"

Todd, you used to be one of my favorites...

but then you started acting like a bitchy little kid that runs off the playground crying when his team doesn't win during recess. Grow some balls you fucking pussy.

I always have to check your threads to see if it's some kind of Poptodd imitation/parody asshole that's trying to make you look bad.

so, with a 3 button suit, button the top 2, right?

also, is a 3 button suit a bad idea?

Comflicting reports. Some say only button the middle, some say top 2

As for the 3 button -- how tall are you, and how well cut is the suit? I have a 2 button I like better than all my suits, but its cut so well, it could be four button and I wouldn't care (Not really that is a crime punishable by banishment to KG Menswear)

I have both and like both, but tend to wear 2 buttons with suits and 3 buttons as sport coats.

depends on your build...3 button suits are better for tall thin guys than short stocky guys.

And damn, while I've always liked Todd and can cut the dude some slack, he is beginnning to remind me of that guy from the old cmj days, Jealous Jockey.

This thread delivered much needed laughs today. Actually anytime the word 'bucky' is used.

I'm making it known that I am NOT jumping off the PopTodd bandwagon. Dude's a CMJOG, and he's got years of quality threads and posts under his belt. Some of you might not be willing to extend him some latitude, but I am, especially given the potentially scrambled state of his synapses. I sure as hell wouldn't want to undergo brain surgery and then be intensely scrutinized ad nauseum thereafter.

The bottom line is we're all guilty of starting shitty threads or making sucky posts, sometimes at a higher rate than we might have previously been known for. It's called a slump, chumps. You go ahead and put him on waivers if you want, but he ain't getting cut from MY team.

Can you really call it scrutiny ad nauseum when he started the thread, and it's sole intent, as stated, is to piss people off?

I'm with haq. If he's gonna act like a jerk, I'm going to tell him he's being a jerk. I still recognize he's been a good guy for a long time and might have some other more important issues he's dealing with. It doesn't mean I think he is a jerk, just that he's acting liking one and I wish he'd cut it out.

i think he's a good guy, always has been, but i am worried for his mental health, honestly. i think he would be better of just staying away from this place for awhile.

Look, I realize he's brought some (maybe even more than just "some") of this on himself, but I like Todd too much to just stand by and watch him get mercilessly pummeled, whether it's warranted or not. I've joined in with some of the joking, and realized it's probably becoming increasingly difficult for him to discern who is giving him a good-natured hard time versus who is really serious with their jabs at him. I wanted to make sure he knows I'm still behind him, because it at least seems to me like he's a man completely on an island at this point.

I understand where a lot of you are coming from, but I can't bring myself to turn against someone I've been on board with for so long, just because he's been subpar of late. Except for athletes, of course, who I will turn on in a NANOSECOND!

np: Elvis Costello - "Human Hands"

Todd should be happy he's just a Cubs fan, then, and not player.

More like not a Rangers player. Specifically not Francisco "Five Blown Saves in April" Cordero, the present co-victim of my sports wrath right now, alongside Marty "The Human Sieve" Turdco.
