going to pick up the in-laws at the airport in an hour.

this will be followed by lots of good eating and drinking all weekend long. hopefully i'll be able to sneak a peek at the draft every now and then.

have a good weekend obnish!

NO drinking for the wife, though.

DAT BABY on-board.

very true. and very upsetting to her.

It gets easier. Trust me.

First half of my pregnancy the smell of alcohol made me sick. Then you get used to it.

Now I'm in my third tri and all I want is a glass of wine or a Margarita. I keep telling myself-10 more weeks, 10 more weeks. ha

Tomorrow: Running a race in the morning with Cap'N's wife. Free beer afterwards (just a couple).

mr. fickerson is doing this tomorrow as well, but I want to sleep in and I'm not in good enough shape yet this year to run in public.

tonight: grilling out chicken and shrimp kebabs, drinking wine on the porch, possibly watching a movie.

tomorrow: going shopping and looking at bikes with my mother. hopefully getting some new clothes, maybe going out later.

sunday: relaxing/being lazy/watching sopranos

I'm beginning to think that I'm just incredibly picky or the place just isn't attracting the kinda guy I want. I'm gonna give it one more month and move on.

I'll keep it in mind, but we've got some plans for that night...which I'm trying to expand to include going elsewherez. So, I'll give you or Chris a ring if it looks like plans can be modified...:)

I lost my friends this weekend. I do not know where they went, but they are not here.

So, Obner, it is up to you to entertain me all weekend (nights) long.

Friday About to open the first beer of the evening:
Image
Heading to see The Whigs at The Basement tonight.

EDIT: booze and blow night since the lady is in Arizona.

Saturday NFL Draft on ESPN &
EDIT: mongering in the dark w/ the dog. I went to sleep at 6:45am and woke up at 12:54pm. Walked to burger/shake shack down the street w/ the dog and got the Behemoth Buger, Fries and a Chocolate malt. Walked back, fell onto couch and got into the fetal position w/ the dog just in time to watch the 24th pick of the Draft. Man's best mongering friend?

'Bout to head out to a Mexican joint in East Nashville for some 'ritas and an probably a chimichanga.

Sunday ?

I'm drinking a botle of Black Swan Shiraz-Merlot and listening to Explosions in the Sky currently. It is still raining, and fairly chilly.
I got completely soaked earlier today when I went and got a 12pk of Old Style and a cheap Pale Ale.

I'll probably call it an early night if I want to drink beer all day and watch the draft.
