Yeah, like most of the married men on this board, who are pussy-whipped to begin with, don't have matching "his & hers" bath robes.

:)

In worksafe mode.

And ayah... I am sorry if I offended you. My reaction was of the knee-jerk variety. (So what else is new?)
The picture itself is nothing that really bothers or titilates me.
Just a joke?
Of course.
But I have a family to feed.
And if somebody at my work DID see that up on my screen, I could be in some deep shit. Even fired.

So, me stop being a pussy?
Just try to see it from my side for a minute.
And please, do not take the thread as a personal attack on Maude's boobs. Just a warning to other cube-dwellers like me who could loose their job over something like that. Sad, but true.

Thanks.

I turn off images and avatars while at work, just to be on the safe side. I miss out on quite a bit of visually-based humor, but I can always check it out when I get home. It's too risky to hope NSFW is always used as an alert. The safest policy is to go text-only at the office.

trust me, todd. you couldn't offend me if you tried.
i look at nudes in paintings on a daily basis and can say that it NEVER occurred to me that this image would be nsfw. ever. my kids see this stuf all the time too. it's all over my apartment.

that said,
if you are that fearful of losing your job--i mean really fearful--why would you even come here while working and like bob said. turn this shit off. take the precautions you need to keep your family fed.

guess what? i have a family to feed, too. and kids going to college in a year. and a whole lot of other stuff--JUST LIKE YOU.
i'm just glad i'm not in a position to feel so fearful of losing my job for stuff like this. it must be very stressful for you.

I'd just like to say that after all the nasty nasty images (mostly of women) I've unwittingly been exposed to on this board without anyone batting an eyelash, I find it pretty funny that one of the few things that gets objected to happens to be:

1) art

2) of a grey-haired woman

3) posted by a woman

sorry but... WTF? Was the objection that she wasn't 19 and wearing a Japanese schoolgirl outift?

its pretty objectionable.

you might be right, however, if "subjected" means clicking on obner shortcut you set up on your internet explorer, logging in, going through all the posts dozens of times a day, and finding pictures of hot women in a thread called - X is such a hot piece of ass.

I forgot there was a "turn images off" option.
Even so, there was never much need for it before. I just avoided threads labeled "NSFW".

But yeah, that advice has been heeded.

And as far as it being art: yes it is a painting, but at first blush it didn't appear to be and I just got out of there as quickly as I could. Didn't look too closely.

I would have understood that objection at least more than that pansy-assed I'm scared I might get fired for unintentionally looking at a gif of a painting with boobs in it. Come on Ayah, you like chicks...no appreciation for Japanese schoolgirls?
