I turn off images and avatars while at work, just to be on the safe side. I miss out on quite a bit of visually-based humor, but I can always check it out when I get home. It's too risky to hope NSFW is always used as an alert. The safest policy is to go text-only at the office.

i look at nudes in paintings on a daily basis and can say that it NEVER occurred to me that this image would be nsfw. ever. my kids see this stuf all the time too. it's all over my apartment.
