Loon used to drink scotch, but not anymore. We tried giving Bean scotch once, and he bared his teeth and growled. Bean will drink beer out of your hand or in a bowl, but not from the bottle. He's persnickety that way.

this thread will give me motivation to finally take some new shots of molly and seamus.

Don't, then that idiot from Vancouver will post about me raping your dogs. Moron.

Jesus, I didn't realize I was hitting such a sore spot. Please accept my most sincere apologies.

How can this thread be on page 2 without OPA posting a picture of Bloor's feet?

Well, you'd have to exhume the bodies to check the smile.

Just these two---they've both quadrupled in size since this photo.

This thread has a little bit of everything.

Awesome.

The chihuahua and I are tangled up in a chair right now. She's sleeping between my feet, but my knees are over the side, I don't know, there's some contortionist stuff going on here. And she is snoring.

By the way, Marco, I've always wanted a Bernese.

Yeah, me too. Finally got these two a year ago, and they've been great dogs---big, excitable and cumbersome at times, but still great dogs.

I too think Bernese Mountain Dogs are beautiful. How big? How much do they weigh? Do they bark a lot?

As much as I like my purebred psychotic labrador, I think my next set of dogs will have to be pound puppies, as mixed breeds seem to have more personality and sometimes are cuter in looks. Either a pound puppy or a purebred dog from a rescue/placement organization.

I've always had an eye for Samoyeds, too. And French Mastiffs! I saw one in the back of a truck this morning, waiting for his parent to come out of a breakfast cafe. He was huge and adorable.

The males can weigh anywhere from 80-130 lbs, and females generally 60-100 lbs. My pups are 120 and 88 lbs at this point (nearly 2yrs old). I wouldn't say they are a particularly barky breed---certainly not more than average.

Yeah, Bean (my chow/collie mix) is definitely cuter and has had less health problems over the years. But see, he knows he's the cutest, and that's why in one of the pictures, Jealous Loonbug is right in front of the camera, going "look at me! look at me!"

Louie has my vote for the cutest pup thus far. When he gets older all the bitches will be scaling the fences for a quickie.

While not a dog pic, I found this cute and amusing.
