so everything i said was littered with "fuck you" or "fuck that" and "fuck" was my adjective of choice for about ten days of that trip. and she wouldn't send me home to spite me. unreal.

it's hard to piss off your parents when one of them is me.

Absentmindedly replied to something my 79-year old mom said on the phone last night with "fuck, mom, I don't know...ask Steve about that shit."

Okay, then, Phil. Good job there.

I told my grandmother (75 y.o.) that my "mom is fucking nuts" and she laughed. I didn't even mean it in a nasty way, I was just talking about some ridiculous thing that my mom said. Sometimes the 70-somethings take swearing best.

When I was 2 1/2, I dropped a tomato in the kitchen and said, "son of a bitch!" My mom said she couldn't stop laughing.

When my nephew was less than 2 yrs old, he was struggling to catch a bouncing balloon. As my sister, mom and I were chatting at the dining room table, we suddenly heard..."GODDAMN, B'LOON!"

Twilight Zone...

The first time I ever swore: I was playing with a baloon in our backyard and it popped: "F*ck!". Can't remember how old I was, but I was sooooooo mortified.

I was in a heated game of "airplane". We needed to take off, but the keys were missing! Regardless, "shit" just popped right out of my mouth for the first time ever and I was stunned silent.

you guys have actual nice families. i learned curses from my parents cursing at each other. then i started cursing at my parents. it all devolved rather quickly.

the best though, was when i came home with "motherfucker"
it' the summer of 1993. my parents decide to send me and my brother mark to "young people's day camp" which is a summer camp the new york metro area that has these corny ads on tv and seems decent enough. except when we get there, it's like 90% black kids and the majority of the counselours are black. which meant that it was the most fun camp every for us whiteys. played so much basketball, and learned all kinds of awesome curses.
these kids even started gangs in the camp...the counselours encouraged it. there were two main counselours, penny and mo. you were either a "pennyist" or a "mo-ite." i was a "mo-ite." shit got ugly.
