If that's the cream of strikers in the Premiership, well...

I'm in.

Here's my starting 11

Robinson - Mellberg, Ricardo Carvalho, Gallas, Del Horno - Rosicky, Gilberto Silva, Lampard, Cristiano Ronaldo - Van Nistelrooy, Drogba.

I'll get in on this when I have a bit of time to play with it. I assume we've got until the first game to join?

So annoying about it being only EPL though since I haven't followed that as much this year.

1. yes, you have until the 8th i think
2. players like cisse often have done better in international play than their superstar countrymen (read: henry)

I spend way too much time on that game! You have to get Football Manager 2006. Same team that did most of the championship manager games but they have now gone out alone. The last two Champ managers sucked bad.

I'm intrigued by this.

But also scared, cos if I get a hold of this my exam marks will also be fucked, as well as a major essay and project due next week

I just got Football Manager 2006 but I've not had much time to play it (my Motherwell lost 2-1 on the opening day of the season to Kilmarnock - shit!) but in my opinion all the newer versions are trying to cram to much in.

It's getting to intensive now and the interface is too complicated and tedious. The best version for me will always be CM 01/02. I just go small teams that you don't know any of the players anyway (like a Greek 2nd division team or something) so the out of dateness of it doesn't really impact on you.

Man you lost to Kilmarnock. I had a go as the Celtic boss but struggled. I signed Brian Kerr. Bad move!

Ive had an interesting career so far. On the year 2021. Took Northampton to the premier, then failed miserably as the Real Madrid boss and got sacked. Took Burnley from Div 2 to premier and lost in the European cup final. Went to Sevilla and won la liga twice then struggled and got sacked. Now gone to down to Lg2 to see if i can bring Oxford up!

Big fan of CM 01/02. My pc is pretty slow but runs 01/02 at a decent speed. I just download all the player updates. CM4 & the new CM are shoddy work. Poor match engine. Too slow.

i thankfully have never gotten into championship manager...otherwise my life might actually become empty and nothing.

i'm tempted by taking cisse over henry, but he's fucking henry. he has to deliver here.

Neuroboys is better since you can pick any player at the finals.

For the record my team is

Cech (CZE) - Ramos (ESP), Terry (ENG), Carvalho (POR), Sorin (ARG) -
Park (KOR), Senna (ESP), Ballack (GER), Ronaldo (POR) - Adriano (BRA), Ronaldinho (BRA).
