There seems to be a universal love for Dulli here, cover songs aside.

Does anybody consider him over-rated? Are you just holding back?

Just interested.

A voice incapable of carrying a melody. A plodding, swingless sense of rhythm. And enough self-importance to make Ryan Adams seem humble.

i liked it more when like faith no more would just burst into a 20 second medley of pump up the jam or the right stuff in the middle of one of their songs.

When Ted Leo careened into Rush's "The Spirit of Radio" during the middle of one of his own songs, then right back to where he left off, that may very well have been the single greatest moment I've ever witnessed at a show.

When Dulli was hard on the smack, he had some serious issues with pitch. As amazing as Black Love is, there are some painful moments on there when the man flails for the note. The BGV guy helps a bit.

You cannot deny this problem.

The man has rhythm, though. And apparently he's cleaned up, and his singing has gotten better.
