I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this point. It was Norton that made me nearly incapable of enjoying the show. I caught his stand-up on Leno one night and it was fucking horrible, like one of the worst things I've ever seen. I was actually pissed off after watching it. The second I saw him on-screen during Lucky Louie I nearly shut it off.

I finally saw the first three episodes off my Tivo last night, and I thought it was pretty funny. Yeah, the "chamber of financial ruin" line was gold, Jerry, gold. The tension with the black neighbor is the best part about the show, and I also love the Aamco guy from Curb. The music is awesome, too. That being said, I have a few complaints:

1. NO MORE FLOPPING DICKS!!!
2. Laura Kightlinger is too over-the-top. It's like she's over-parodying her character.
3. Dana's right. The daughter is absolutely terrible.
4. Even though the wife is actually fairly good-looking, I still can't stomach hearing Bobby Hill having orgasms.

Actually, have to say I don't like the show.

We've tried watching it a couple times and husband and I both found the show rather annoying. Just couldn't get into it.

Dude, there's a lot of stuff that I like that you guys also like.

But even my husband agrees the acting is ok,but the show itself is forced gritty realism- which doesn't always translate or appeal very well to the mass public. The show just isn't appealing so therefore to us not very funny.

More like WTF.
