Guess it's safe to assume that said "mandatory assignment" was something mentioned in a certain other thread that I shall not open at work.... who's title refers to this:

Friday: Played golf this A.M., accomplished a little work, ate a free dinner at fiance's workplace. Probably just kick it around the house for the rest of the night. Kinda tired. And full.

Saturday: Mow grass/water/fertilize and finish some planting in the AM; then do some laundry and other inside shit during the hot part of the day. Probably flip on the USA and UGA games. When it cools down again I need to get out in the garden, weed a bit and clear out some space for some more squash (the dogs got in there last week and made a hell of a mess) and maybe some sweet potato plants.

Sunday: Dunno. Its the fiance's day off so we'll probably try and do something fun, maybe brunch. Who knows? Then, The Wire/Entourage.

Today:
About to head to Michigan to my dad's house for 24 hours for Father's Day. My sister and her family will be up there too so that'll be fun.

I have to try and stay out of the heat though because it's brutal up there today and my doc doesn't want me in it because I start to swell like a balloon.

Tomorrow: Come home late afternoon and clean house and chill out with the husband.

Monday: Charlie's first day of summer vacation. We're going to hang out and I'm taking him to a movie.

So I didn't get to see the free Bright Eyes show like I thought I was going to, and while I'm glad I wasn't stuck outside during the torrential rain and thunderstorm that delayed the end of the CWS game between Miami-Oregon State, I'm pissed that I missed my opportunity to meet Vincent Gallo. I think the only movie I have seen with him in it is Buffalo 66, but it would have been cool to hobnob with such a bizarre freak.
