I think its an age thing. I've seen a ton of those movies becaue I moved that summer to a house that was basically walking distance to a movie theater.

I completely agree with you. I was roughly 13 and couldn't do much else besides go swimming at the public pool across the street from my house or walk down the street to the Bowling Alley/Theatre complex. Plus, it was the era of video rentals, so you saw nearly every movie that came out by the end of the year.
I just wanted to know if the Cineaste view this to be a classic year or a dreadful one.

Re: goodfellas, it's pretty good, but mob movies (and TV shows, and news stories) bore me to tears. I've given up trying to watch Donnie Brasco without falling asleep.
