This is not an attempt to make fun of you, but don't these units usually only weigh around 25-50lbs and don't you basically plug it in once you stabilize it in your window.
I had a couple in my first crappy apartment, and I thought I moved them during the fall/winter months so I could seal my windows. I also thought the only service people I know have had to have is freon replacement.
I only weigh 140lbs, but figured I could carry one of those up four flights with a couple breaks.

i have to have 2 air conditioners installed, so i don't think i could carry them up four flights. also, there's some brackets my building says i have to use. i think its so they don't fall out of the window. i don't know what for, but the installation guy should know about this. i'm not confident in my securing skills, so i'll leave it up to those big dudes to install them.

I understand not wanting to install something that falls under a building ordinance.

Chill, Holmes. tt is a she.

EDIT: That's to clarify the physical challenge aspect, not the "plug it in" aspect.

It's not tipping I believe in, it's over tipping.

I forget some of the people on here who are of the feminine persuasion. That said, I deal with a decent number of female stagehands who can lift a crap ton.

I think the point is that you should offer drinks, and tip...

Though the amount of the tip is negligable to the service provided...

i was going to give him a tip, but when he found out i didn't have an elevator he got pretty annoyed. and he just threw the first a/c on the ground like it was a piece of trash. so, if you're gonna be a jerk with other people's property, screw you.

i did offer him a drink, but he refused. oh well, more diet coke for me.

He threw it on the ground? If that shit is broken, guess who's no longer gonna have a job when you complain to his boss?
