Damn, I'll never break that list. It would take a seriously long period of being a lonely shut-in with tons of money and tons of booze/coffee.
I was starting to add to my post count in the spring, but I've been too busy this summer.

A major misread which never fails to amuse me. The simple answer is "post faster, post more bullshit" You'll get there.

The booze/coffee bit helps, but the faster/more adage can be applied to any competent multitasker. Got more than one computer at your work station? Post something the same moment you're finishing up something work-related. Listening to music while your kids, dogs and cats (hypothetical or actual) frolic about the room? No reason for that to slow you down. Not when you adopt the useful What I Just Typed Right Then, Hell, It's Fine, Let's Hit Enter And Call It Good strategy of posting.

You can do it. It's just fingers and letters.

1. I only get to post a few times while I am work, since I have to look like I'm doing work when I am at my desk and now that we are busy, I have to monitor events away from my desk.
2. I think I already post enough BS, I spent two days posting about the NFL draft. I think I need the booze to be a good drunk poster.
3. I haven't had the opportunity lately to be a drunk poster, something I think that helps your post count.
4. I think I have posted the most today, but it doesn't help that I usually post during the times no one else is posting.
5. When I type fast I tend to take shit from the grammar police on here, so I prefer to keep the low profile I have.

Thus, I said I needed to be a shut-in so I can avoid work, drink a ton and make more stupid post and be so drunk I could careless about grammar.
You can do it. It's just fingers and letters.

I was trying to figure out the other day what happened to Dusty Chalk. Did he just disappear without notice? I think I remember that guy being an asshole.

He wasn't so much an asshole as just a bad poster IIRC. He mostly added unfunny quips in unreadable, tiny type. It's hard to miss someone whose posts you could (or would) hardly ever read so I guess it was pretty easy for him to slip away without being noticed.

And he had some phenomenally gay website devoted to his screen name which deservedly drew ridicule from pretty much everyone. Also, I think he ended up at odds with the Senator et al and was more or less chased away eventually.

I wish I didn't remember any of this.

Hell Of A Man, That Dusty
by Emily Dickinspoon

The Obner -- feels Dusty
When We stop to Die --
We want the Dew -- then --
Honors -- taste dry --

Flags -- vex a Dying face --
But the least Fan
Stirred by a friend's Hand --
Cools -- like the Rain --

Mine be the Ministry
When they Thirst comes --
And Hybla Balms --
Dews of Thessaly, to fetch --
