there's a place on chicago ave called beauty skool dropout which is in a total hipster neighborhood that i'd like to try someday.

now i almost wish t&g wasn't this weekend... i would totally take you around town and do girly stuff.

Tonight - Beers, crap tv and possible drunken obner posts

Saturday - Lay in, then head down to London. Visit Rough Trade shop then record stores in Notting Hill. Head over to Notting Hill Arts Club for Drowned in Sound showcase with bands Optimist Club, Cutting Pink With Knives, Adventure Playground & George Pringle. Maybe head into soho and go to peep show.

Sunday - Playing Football in the morning then fight muscle pains on the sofa with codeine whilst watching the footie.

i definitely cannot afford $170. perhaps i will buy a box and do it in my friend's bathroom. anyways, if anyone's up for getting drinks after the festivities on saturday night...

Gosh, between you guys with your hair color stuff, Aural with her pedicure and manicure, and me with my Shiatsu... we're having quite a full-on girly weekend! Nice work.

TOMORROW: dinner/drinks with some old friends.... then after, going to try to make it to the little ones' going away party since they're leaving to go on tour on monday.

SUNDAY: clean my apt. yell at roommate for being messy & lazy. get him to help me clean. oh, andstudy, i have a paper due on monday night. :roll:

oh hell yes... me too. i've actually been really good this week and haven't touched booze since sunday (hey, that's a long time for me.) too bad the troub doesn't have jameson.... booooooooooooo. this time i'm getting there early (in time to catch dr. dog), around 9pm... rian's going to meet me up there but if i choose to go with her, i'll probably get there at 10:15 (haha). so we shall see you there honey!

yesterday - worked arvo/evening. Was meant to go to a friend of a friend's party after but it the weather was far too gross for me to venture outside

today - working on boring-as essay research now. Have to sort out something to wear to a big college dinner thing that my dad is coming in to town for tonight. Possibly going out afterwards, as is tradition, but not looking forward to having to walk there in this weather - I wouldn't be surprised if we end up getting another 50mls of rain after the absolute downpour I got stuck in on Wednesday night

tomorrow - ? Such a relief to not have my Sundays taken up with sport anymore. Though it will probably end up with me trying to tackle Matlab for an econometrics assignment

Nebraska won 56-7, it was a shutout until the 4th Quarter. That is when Nicholls State finally broke 100 total yards and scored a touchdown against Nebraska's scrubs. The Huskers took out the Colonels starting QB in the opening drive.
It rained the whole game, so now I'm a little wet and heading to drink.
