friday: working. went to a halloween store with my friend, her dog proceeded to piss and shit in the store so we left with poop but sans piss. came home and watched friday the 13th part 7: the new blood. awful.

saturday: working again. we're having a zombie cocktail party at my house. i'm gonna get drunk and dj, not sure in what order.

sunday: this is gonna be rough. i have a walk for autism at like 9am and i'm pretty fucking sure i'm gonna be massively hungover.

no drinking... ugh. I made a very drunken declaration from the bathtub 3 weeks ago. "No drinking for me in October." The wife could care less, but since I said it aloud, I feel like I have to follow through with it. So far so good.

Today - Interview for a part time job I have no time to do but need to do anyway in 90 minutes, then ?? Homework probably.

Sat - No idea, then dinner with Busty et al.

Sun - No idea. More homework, likely. I have a lot of drawings to do.

Yeah no sweats or anything. No chills. No craving. I rarely had more than 2 beers in a day, but I had 2 beers like EVERY day. I find I miss it when I come back from something @ school that has me cranked up and ready to relaxe. Plus there's 3 good beers left in the fridge.

I think back to Rich Heise, my freshman year. Right about Lent time, he says "I ain't catholic, but I think I'm gonna give up booze for it. Just wanna make sure I'm still the boss."

Well, dragging Rapey in that little red wagon from bar to bar WOULD get old, but let's not talk crazy in public, eh?

Apart from going to the football (Motherwell v Dunfermline, which we really need to win or 'depression' and 'relegation' will be the buzzwords of the next few days) my weekend is a whole lot of nothing.

Drunken declarations should always be made from the bathtub.

My weekend....

i'll rehearse. that's about it.

next weekend, i've been roped into adjudicating Region Choir Auditions. They start at 6:30 a.m. on a saturday. all day long. I just found out last night, and it feels like that bomb has already ruined this weekend.

I'm picturing rubber duckies, battleships, and Mr. Bubble. I'm right, aren't I? And Yail's right. Not drinking's not so bad. You go home at the end of the night with a wallet full of money and the person you went out with in the first place and your next day isn't ruined by vomit and diarrhea.

My weekend:

I'm going to see The Departed at some point. Might go see a friend DJ tonight. Will try to wrangle some action out of a boy (hopefully with positive results, but prepared to be shot down). Football will be watched. New running shoes will be purchased. Going to try to get back on schedule with the International Film Festival.

I puked once or twice, and was then very cold. The idea of a hot bath just seemed too perfect to resist. I would've slept in there too, but the wife pulled me out.

Aaaaaah!! Kill It! AAAAAHHHH!!!

Isn't there a goat farm near there somewhere, that you can just stand there for free and play tapes of instrumental indie songs and drink Jameson? I swear, you won't know it's not him singing!

you think i'd actually pay for this show? i've been curious to see them live... but it not going to kill me if i don't go. it's more of a favor for my roommate because he really, really wanted to go and my friend hooked up tickets for the show. in any case, i'll be at the bar drinking jameson 99% of the time.

Yep, there's a happy medium in there somewhere. I miss that medium.
