If I'm at a coffee shop I usually order a double skim mocha.

I have 1 cup a morning at work and put in a little powdered creamer and 2 Splendas.

Perhaps the acidic taste of coffe owes itself to the interpretation of "crisp"? Or does he mean the way coffe feels going down on a cold day?

I've tried drinking coffee a few times and I could never stand it. Same goes for coffee ice cream.

I have two cups of black coffee every morning.

Does that qualify as "crisp?" Assuming it doesn't, I voted "other."

I guess they don't have this in the US.

DumpJack to the rescue.

This was supposed to be a joke throwaway thread but it doesn't really work if no one has any clue what you're talking about. It's funnier, though.

And I grew up in Toronto, now living in a suburb of Toronto called Oshawa.

And the chocolate bar doesn't really taste that much like coffee. Because I don't like coffee but I like it.

And it's huge here.

The commercials too.

They would show why it's easier to eat a Coffee Crisp than drink coffee in comical fashion.

i.e.

A guy at work pulls a Coffee Crisp from his desk drawer and takes a bite.

Another guy at work opens his desk drawer to find it filled with black coffee.

So much for tomorrow's Crispy Crunch thread.

I've drunk it black for over 15 years although recently I've started to enjoy it with a bit of half and half.

I'd wager I drink as much as if not more coffee than anyone here. (even though I'm not a member, I very much have the stereotypical AA diet of coffee and cigs)

Hmm, see I've always heard that if you add cream, you are therefore cancelling the caffeine in the drink. Kind of like eating a salad but drenching it in Thousand Island.

I drink it Black occasionally, but most of the time cream and a little sugar. For the perfect cup, I go by the right color the cream makes it once added. I really don't drink coffee as much as I used to and when I did it was usually a Cafe Cubano con Azucar in the Colada size(like a double espresso shot). For the last 8 months or so I've been on a Black Tea kick(Twinings English or Irish). It's been a good replacement.

I average a full pot a day, sometimes two.
I usually make one pot at around 5-5:30am and if I have a few cups at night, I usually make it around 8:00pm. When I was in college, I would have atleast one cup of joe with every meal and then make a pot at night when I was studying.

I've heard that the carbonation in soda & like beverages, when consumed, causes nigh-instantaneous deterioration of muscle.
